We are now recruiting for our BRAND NEW OPENING, Albert’s Standish (Wigan), set to open in June 2019!
This will be a glamorous 200 cover restaurant and fully stocked cocktail bar with ample external dining and drinking too. In addition it will feature three event and party rooms, the largest accommodating up to 250 people.
Albert’s Standish really will be the place to drink, dine and, of course, work in Greater Manchester. Our management training is extensive and you will be constantly learning the ‘albert’s way’, in a modern, upbeat environment.

As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the business and be a stakeholder in our company. You will be committed to ensuring the restaurant delivers the highest standards for our guests. As an inspirational leader, you will also understand the importance of coaching and development your management team.
You will be dedicated to managing, driving and developing a successful business which is focused on growth, guest service excellence, as well as a confident, content and well-trained team.
Skills and Behaviours:

A proven track record of successfully managing a front of house and back of house team, identifying how they work best together
Commitment to delivering only the highest of standards of food and service through strong leadership, support and coaching the whole team
The ability to implement policies and procedures outlined by the company – creating a workplace culture
Actively being able to inspire, lead and encourage your team, whilst remaining self-motivated
Willing and eager to learn, cross train and go above and beyond
Have a commercial awareness that grows the business and works to achieve financial targets
Be a charismatic, enthusiastic and passionate person
A maestro of multi-tasking; being organised and able to prioritise efficiently
Adaptable and versatile; leading change from the front
A great eye for detail with the ability to follow and oversee processes and solve problems effectively
At least 2 years’ experience as General Manager of a similar business with high volume turnover.

Salary: £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 /year
